It's mid-October and we don't know where the last two weeks have gone. So far this month we have met Sarah's parents and sister for bike riding on the Root River trails (in southern Minnesota) and met up with friends at an ISU football game. Ryan's parents will be in town next weekend for the Homecoming football game, and then we'll be gearing up for Halloween. Zach wants a Spiderman-Superman-Frog costume.
Our brick patio and retaining wall were installed this past week and we are really pleased with how the whole project turned out. Hopefully Ryan will post some pictures of our yard projects soon. Even the rocks around the fence look really nice--and we are glad we are done hauling them. The only thing left is to find a nice gate to replace our old one so we can let the cats run in the yard.
