December was a busy month--as usual. We celebrated Ryan and Zach's Nov 30th birthdays (30 and 4 respectively) on the big day, as well as the following Saturday with some friends. Sarah travelled for work to the San Francisco Bay area for a few days, then Ryan and Zachary headed to Utah to do some skiing. It was Zach's first ski trip and he is a natural. Sarah met up with the boys, and we all celebrated Christmas in Utah with Ryan's extended family. Then off to Iowa for Christmas with Sarah's extended family.
January found our little family starting to get ready for the baby. We took a birthing refresher class (it's been 4 years and we forgot a few things!), and Zach took a Big Brother class where he learned how to hold a baby, change diapers and swaddle. He's going to be a good big brother and likes to feel the baby move. The new baby is very active, and is known for keeping Mom up for hours in the middle of the night with the kicking. So it begins.....Oh, and Sarah turned 30 on Jan 15th.
February is shaping up as another busy, hectic month. Sarah's bellydance, Zach's gymnastics and choir, Ryan's tech team, and Sunday school continue. We also started leading a small group of new members at church, joined the parent board at Zach's daycare, hosted 2 parties so far, and served a meal to the homeless. We still need to complete the taxes, move the office, set up a nursery, choose some baby names, work........
